CALL FOR RECORDS


The “ArchLabour Monthly Record” initiative constitutes an activity of the ArchLabour research project, an in-depth exploration of the labour force in colonial and postcolonial studies (ERC grant ref: 101096606). The objective of the initiative is to foster a wider debate on contemporary records (1875-1975). If you have a document you would like “ArchLabour monthly record” to feature it (a photograph, a letter, a memorandum, a report, a sound recording, a postcard, a newspaper clip, a drawing, a video, or other, share it with us at:


Contributors are requested to submit an image of their record (min. 300 dpi), together with a concise description of its author and a summary (300-800 words) in Portuguese, English or their local language, via email, no later than the 15th of each month. Please be mindful to follow the template, notwithstanding the peer review process. The “ArchLabour Monthly Record” is published on our platforms and distributed on social media at the 30th.
